I am fairly new into the farrier world. I bought my first set of tool off of amazon and have been upgrading as I have realized that the quality of the tool is extremely important. I had hit a cross road as I have several large drafts in my books and man did I struggle with the tools I had. while down visiting the afa competition for snefa in mass this spring I came across the kahn tool line. I talked with the rep nick for a while explaining how I was new to trimming and was struggling finding the right tool fit for me. he grabbed up the pair of 15 in nips as soon as I had mentioned drafts. as soon as I held them I knew they would be a game changer and boy were they. they cut easily through the hard hoof wall of the Belgians I had struggled with before. making nice beautiful trim lines. I highly recommend these to anyone that has to regularly deal with hard or larger hooves or even if you want some that cuts smooth and has nice leverage. I will soon be investing in another pair as a backup. altho with the durability and quality craftsmanship I do not see my self needing them unless I were to misplace these ones on a job sight. if I could 10 out of 10 stars deffinetly recommend!!
