A Racing Legacy Since 1949

The Thoro’Bred Racing Plate Company was founded in 1949 by the Kinney family, born out of a deep passion for horse racing.

Our Thoro’Bred shoes have played a role in racing history. Many of the most recognizable legends in Thoroughbred racing crossed the finish line first wearing our plates — including:
